The MovingPicture Flash driver is a free option to create Macromedia Flash movies of moves from the Windows version of MovingPicture Producer. It make compact files, usually 30-100K in size, depending on quality desired of moves on still images. The quality is not as good as with streaming media files, but they have the advantage of not needing anything special to serve them from a website, and they are many times smaller.

Once the Flash Driver is installed, MovingPicture Producer will easily create .swf movie files used by Macromedia Flash 5.0 players. Since most people have Flash on their computers already, (96% according to Macromedia) it makes it easy to embed these compact movies on websites and email.
You can create photo montages with many images and have smooth dissolves in between each image, if desired. You can also add a sound track to the movie, offering a complete multimedia experience. Click here to view an example.
