Macintosh Download
To run MovingPicture or MovingParts, you will need one of the following files, depending on the editor you use. The Producer (standalone) version is listed at the bottom of each section.
Take a moment to check the FAQ's (frequently asked questions).
Please read the license agreement on the bottom of this page. By downloading the software, you are agreeing to its terms.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR AVID & FCP: When using the plug-in within Avid or FCP, you need to put a placeholder image on the editor's timeline in order to use MovingPicture in the editor. The most intuitive thing to do would be to use the hi-res image you want to do the moves on as the placeholder. But MovingPicture does not load the image from the timeline, as most editors automatically down-scale the image to video-res, making zooming-in look "pixilated."
Using a hi-res image on the editor's timeline will cause problems in many editors. Avids tend to become unstable when such large images are placed on the timeline, and Final Cut will render SIGNIFICANTLY slower. Instead, since we ignore the placeholder image anyway, the best thing to use is a piece of video footage from the show, or a video-sized (i.e. 720 by 480 pixel) image)

Macintosh Files are in a SIT format. Some browsers will automatically decompress the .sit file into a folder. If you do not see a new folder with the same name as the SIT file you just downloaded, drag the SIT file over Un-StuffIt (require version 7 or higher).
MovingPicture
Inside the folder is the help file, called QuickStart.html, a read-me file called ReadMe.txt (for OSX it's called ReadMe.rtf ) and the application itself, called MovingPicture. Move the resulting MovingPicture file into the proper folder required by your editor if you are using the plug-in version.
MovingParts
Inside the folder is the help file, called PartsManual.html, a read-me file called ReadMe.txt (for OSX it's called ReadMe.rtf ) and the application itself, called MovingParts. Move the resulting MovingParts file into the proper folder required by your editor if you are using the plug-in version.

- Final Cut Pro OS 8/9 looks in the Plugins folder for plug-ins.
- Final Cut Pro for OS-X looks in the Library\Application Support\Final Cut Pro System Support\Plugins folder for plug-ins.
- MovingPicture Producer can be placed in any folder.

Take a moment to check the FAQ's (frequently asked questions). It may save you some time!
- MovingPicture does not extract the picture to move from the NLE's timeline, as most limit the resolution that is passed onto any plug in to the final output video resolution, which is too small for zooming into without breaking up. Use the Load Picture menu option in the MovingPicture interface to load your image.
- When rendered, a red bar will appear in the middle of the image. This will disappear when the product is registered.
